Bill Lublin has always enjoyed a fine reputation in the real estate industry. Entering the business in 1971 at the age of 21, Bill rapidly gained recognition as one of the best salespeople in the marketplace. From his earliest days he began a career of service to both the community and the industry.
He has served numerous times as a director of the Pennsylvania Association of Realtors, President of the Oxford Circle Council and Chairman of the PBR Grievance Professional Standards Committees. In addition Bill served for two years as President of the Northeast Multiple Listing Bureau. In 1996 Bill served as President of the Greater Philadelphia Association of REALTORS. and in 1998 and 2001 as the Professional Standards Chairman of the Pennsylvania Association of REALTORS.
Bill has served as a member of the National Association of REALTORS Professional Standards Committee and Risk Management Committee. He was also appointed to serve on the Interpretations and Procedures Sub-Committee, the Article 10 Standards Revision Working Group, the Commercial Membership Recruitment Group, and was appointed Chair of the NAR Short Sale Workgroup. In addition Bill has received appointments as Vice-Chair of the Professional Standards Forum and the Professional Standards Committee, and finally the appointment to Chair the Committee in 2008, the Association’s Centennial Year.
In 1983 Bill opened Lublin Corporation REALTORS at 7104 Castor Avenue. In just a few years, the company received national recognition for its high level of customer satisfaction. His company, CENTURY 21 Advantage Gold, has been recognized by both Real Trends Magazine and Real Estate and Relocation magazine as one of the largest real estate firms in the United States since 1998. Real Trends also recognized CENTURY 21 Advantage Gold as the fastest growing real estate firm in Pennsylvania. In 2001 the company was ranked as the 17th most active company in the sale of real property out of the 6,300 office system. CENTURY 21 Advantage Gold is currently Philadelphia’s Largest Century 21 firm.
Bill has always placed a great deal of emphasis on professional education and achievement. He is one of the only real estate professionals to earn both the Graduate of the Realtors Institute (GRI) designation and the Certified Residential Specialist designation in only one year! As a Certified Residential Brokerage Manager (CRB), his skills in the field of management are unsurpassed. Bill is also an NAR trained Professional Standards Instructor, and Mediation Trainer, was Certified as a facilitator by Century 21, and is a trained DRS Mediator. He has been a State Certified Instructor in several Real Estate courses, has taught for the Greater Philadelphia Real Estate Board School, and has made presentations for the Pennsylvania Association of REALTORS and New Jersey Association of REALTORS as well as various local Associations.
Peer recognition is important, and Bill has received numerous awards from professional real estate organizations, including the honor of being inducted into the Greater Philadelphia Association of REALTORS Hall of Fame, an honor achieved by few of the Association’s members in its history! Bill also serves as a Consultant to the Industry, and is one of the Contributors to the AgentGenius Blog
Of all of his achievements, Bill is proudest of his family. Bill has been happily married since 1975 to his lovely wife Sheila, who works with their REO clients from their Corporate Center. His son Hal, and Daughter-In-Law Jennifer are principals in JHM Productions and the creators of Townville ™. His dog Cisco makes the term “a dog’s life” seem absolutely attractive.
